In Korea you tap a transit card like T-money to ride the subway and bus. Tap again when leaving the subway, and tap when getting off the bus to get transfer discounts. So keep your card within easy reach. A reel holder lets you pull and tap without unhooking it from your bag, and the spring card holder (7,910 orders) is easy to decorate.

Myeongdong has two Daiso stores: Myeongdong Station Store (134-1 Toegye-ro) and Main Store (43 Myeongdong-gil), both 10 AM–10 PM. The station store is close to the subway, so you can stop by right away. You'll take out your passport a lot too, so the ₩1,000 clear passport case 2-pack (5,100 orders) helps, including at tax refund counters.

Using Directions: open the store map with the 📍 icon below the post, pick a store and tap Directions for subway and bus routes from your hotel. No Korean needed. Last pick: the travel safety ring for your phone (₩1,000, 3,386 orders) so you don't drop it in busy Myeongdong.
