Learn Korean shade numbers first. Many Korean foundations use numbers like 21 and 23, and higher means deeper, though the same number varies by brand. For a long-lasting matte finish, look at VDL and GIVERNY. For glow, try AboutTone Skin Layer Fit (14K+ reviews). Testing in store and checking in daylight is the surest way.
